Unscrew dispenser cup from the Salt Rid applicator and fill with Salt Rid concentrate. Replace the dispenser cup, taking care to ensure that the  “O” ring is seated properly.  Attach one end of the applicator to a garden hose and the other end to your flushing attachment.  Ensure the knob of the applicator is in the “OFF” position.   Turn water flow on full pressure and start engine. Bring engine up to operating temperature to ensure that the thermostat is open for Salt Rid to clean the engine cooling system.  Turn knob to the “ON” position and continue to run through the engine for 1 minute.  Turn engine off, shut off water supply.  Remove flushing attachment and applicator. Leave Salt Rid in the engine to prevent rusting and corrosion.  Use remainder of concentrate left in the dispenser bowl to rinse off boat, trailer and vehicle.
